DCP at a Glance

A programme built to expand possibility

DCP 2026 brings together high-potential students from rural Uttarakhand for a structured residential experience combining future-ready learning, personal development, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving.

🎓
Class 11 Students

Designed specifically for students currently enrolled in Class 11 from rural and underserved communities across Uttarakhand's 13 districts.

💯
Fully Funded

DCP 2026 is intended to be fully funded for selected participants — zero cost to students or their families for all programme components.

🏠
Residential Future-Skills Experience

An on-campus immersive residential programme — providing a structured, high-trust, high-rigour learning environment unlike anything available locally.

🏔
Rural & Underserved Communities

Students from rural, remote, and hilly areas are the primary focus — those with the most potential and the least access to quality opportunities.

🚀
Team-Based Innovation Challenge

Students work in teams to identify, analyse, and develop solutions to real rural challenges — building collaboration, creativity, and confidence simultaneously.

🛤
Mentorship & Opportunity Pathways

DCP doesn't end at the campus gate. Year-long mentorship, digital learning access, and scholarship connections continue the journey beyond the bootcamp.

Why DCP 2026 Matters

High-potential students should not be left waiting for opportunity.

Across rural Uttarakhand, many students demonstrate ambition, intelligence, and a deep desire to build better futures. Yet they often lack access to immersive learning environments, advanced exposure to technology, mentorship, high-quality networks, and spaces that challenge them to think beyond conventional pathways.

DCP 2026 responds to that gap.

It is designed for students who have potential — but need the right platform to convert that potential into confidence, capability, and direction.

💻
Limited Exposure

Many rural learners have little access to future-facing skills, AI literacy, and innovation-based learning — experiences that are increasingly essential for any competitive career or ambition.

👥
Limited Networks

Students may not encounter mentors, experts, or examples that expand their sense of what is possible — and what they themselves can aspire to and achieve.

🛤
Limited Pathways

Academic talent and aspiration often remain disconnected from scholarships, mentorship, and longer-term growth opportunities — leaving potential untapped through lack of access.

What Makes DCP Different

Not another camp. A catalyst for direction, confidence, and action.

DCP is built around the idea that students thrive when they are trusted with serious ideas, meaningful challenges, and a community that believes in their potential.

💡
Future-Ready Learning

Students engage with computational thinking, AI literacy, and problem-solving relevant to the world they are entering — not yesterday's curriculum.

Leadership & Inner Development

The programme builds communication, resilience, confidence, teamwork, and changemaker mindsets alongside technical skills — the whole person, not just capability.

🌱
Community Problem-Solving

Students work in teams to identify and develop solutions for rural and social challenges — making learning purposeful, active, and rooted in real community realities.

🤝
Expert Exposure

Students learn from and interact with educators, entrepreneurs, researchers, social-impact leaders, and professionals who expand their horizons and inspire possibility.

🚪
Opportunity Pathways

DCP connects with year-long mentorship, digital learning access, alumni networks, and relevant scholarship opportunities — continuing beyond the residential phase.

📊
Evidence-Oriented Design

The programme is designed to observe and document growth in computational thinking, confidence, psychological capital, and aspiration — not just participation and attendance.

Who the Programme Is For

Designed for high-potential Class 11 students from rural Uttarakhand

DCP 2026 is intended for students who show strong potential, curiosity, and the capacity to benefit from an intensive future-skills and leadership journey.

📘
Class Level

Students currently enrolled in Class 11 from state board schools in Uttarakhand.

🏔
Geography

Preference for students from rural, remote, and underserved areas of Uttarakhand, including hilly and hard-to-reach communities.

🎯
Academic Potential

Students with strong academic performance, evident learning motivation, and curiosity that their current environment may not fully support.

🏠
Socio-Economic Priority

Students from lower-income backgrounds will be prioritised. Income documentation may be considered during nomination or selection where required.

💪
Student Mindset

Learners who are curious, disciplined, collaborative, and willing to participate actively in a demanding and immersive residential learning experience.

👧
Gender Focus

Girls' participation is actively encouraged and prioritised. DCP 2025 maintained a 55% girls' cohort — and DCP 2026 continues this commitment to gender equity.

📌 We encourage school coordinators to nominate students with both academic promise and genuine need — the combination that DCP is specifically designed to serve.
The DCP 2026 Student Journey

A structured journey from selection to sustained opportunity

DCP is not a one-day event. It's a six-stage journey that takes students from first nomination through to mentorship, opportunity pathways, and continued growth.

1
School Nomination

Schools identify deserving Class 11 students with strong potential, curiosity, and genuine need.

2
Selection & Onboarding

Eligible nominations are reviewed centrally. Selected students are prepared and onboarded for participation.

3
Pre-Programme Learning

Students receive structured orientation and pre-learning modules — helping them arrive ready to engage fully.

4
Residential Bootcamp

An intensive on-campus experience — future skills, leadership, collaboration, reflection, and community problem-solving.

5
Innovation Showcase

Students present ideas and solutions before peers, mentors, and invited stakeholders — building confidence and communication.

6
Mentorship & Pathways

Selected learners continue with guidance, digital learning access, alumni community, and relevant scholarship connections.

Core Learning Pillars

What students learn

DCP 2026 blends cognitive, technological, and human development so students are better prepared for the future — and more confident in their ability to contribute meaningfully.

🧠
Computational Thinking

Breaking down complex problems, recognising patterns, abstracting key elements, and designing structured, algorithmic solutions.

🤖
AI Literacy & Emerging Tools

Understanding the role of AI in the modern world, using tools responsibly, and seeing technology as a creative and problem-solving partner — not a threat.

🌟
Leadership & Changemaker Skills

Communication, teamwork, empathy, initiative, confidence, and values-based action — the skills that define leaders who create lasting change.

🔬
Design Thinking & Innovation

Identifying real problems, understanding stakeholders, ideating, prototyping, and presenting solutions with clarity and conviction.

🎙
Communication & Expression

Speaking, presenting, storytelling, and articulating ideas with clarity — so students can share their thinking with the world, not just their classroom.

💪
Resilience, Reflection & Growth

Building self-belief, adaptability, antifragility, and a stronger sense of purpose — so setbacks become fuel rather than obstacles.

What Students Build

They do not just learn. They create.

A central feature of DCP is its team-based innovation journey. Students identify real issues relevant to rural communities, develop solution ideas, work collaboratively, and present their thinking with confidence. These projects help students experience problem-solving as something active, social, and meaningful.

Rural problem statements grounded in community realities
User-centred solution concepts developed through design thinking
Technology-enabled ideas applicable to real challenges
Presentation decks and innovation showcase pitches
Team collaboration outputs and documented learning
Confidence in public articulation and idea defence

NEET/JEE Scholarship Opportunity

Opening ambitious academic pathways

🤝 With support from Yuva Unstoppable

With the support of Yuva Unstoppable, eligible Class 11 students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds are being connected to NEET/JEE scholarship opportunities. This pathway helps high-potential rural learners pursue competitive ambitions in medicine and engineering that may otherwise remain difficult to access.

The scholarship opportunity complements DCP's wider purpose: to connect capability with possibility, and exposure with long-term advancement.

ℹ️ Scholarship access is subject to eligibility, selection processes, and the applicable criteria of the supporting partner. Not all DCP students are guaranteed a scholarship — this is a potential pathway for eligible learners.

DCP 2025 alumni received fully-sponsored two-year NEET/JEE coaching through partner support — a first step toward medicine and engineering careers from rural Uttarakhand.
